How can Asheville SCORE help YOU?
As the counseling arm of the US Small Business Association (SBA),
our single-minded mission is to help small businesses succeed. Period.
Here’s what we offer:
FREE COUNSELING
Whatever problem, challenge or issue you are facing, there is a
very strong probability that an hour spent with our business counselors
will move you along in the right direction. Many of our clients
use us in the same manner they would a paid consultant, thereby
receiving ongoing (free) counseling over many years.
BUSINESS ASSESSMENT TEAMS
If you have a really tough problem that requires a team effort to
generate a solution, we will assemble and provide that team of experts
from within our membership, and we will do so at no charge to you.
This is yet another of our free services.
SPEAKER BUREAU
SCORE will provide a free speaker for your group or organization
who will brief your membership on how they might best take advantage
of the services that SCORE offers.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
SCORE is a volunteer army of over 12,000 business owners and executives
(many retired) who serve America by providing the free services
mentioned above. Generally speaking, most members are intelligent
with a significant business background and, consequently, are a
fun and stimulating group with which to work.
LOW COST SEMINARS
The only service for which SCORE charges a small fee is for attendance
at one of our many business seminars, where business owners are
provided valuable success information in a group setting. There
are multiple-seminar discounts, of which many attendees choose to
take advantage.
